Mission 2: Escape The Catacombs

The Catacomb Depths have been sufficiently explored, but we can only beat back the darkness for so long. The Catacomb Operatives Network has decided to make one final push to destroy the evil heart once and for all. This is our last chance to protect the city of Fuchs!

But the danger is clear: once we start destabilizing the catacombs, it will begin to crumble over our heads. We must make it out of here alive.

Objective

Humans must band together to defeat the special zombies of the catacombs. We will find and destroy each of the chargers by dart dumping them multiple times. But beware: the chargers are angry, and will fight back with vigor!

In addition, the zombies have created spawn points on the basement level of the catacombs. If a zombie stands within 5 feet of the spawnpoint for 15 seconds (must count out loud), they are instantly unstunned. Humans must get rid of these spawnpoints by planting Destabilizers next to them.

The catacombs will crumble around us. We must complete these objectives and return to the main chamber (the Arena floor) by 9:50 PM to reopen the portal and make it home. Humans who do not make it to the main chamber before this time will succumb to the poisons flooding the halls and become zombies.

Our actions will surely re-attract the attention of The Boomer. It will only be active in the main chamber. It possesses the same ability to wave a flag around its head. While the flag is waving, zombies who run in a circle around The Boomer will be instantly unstunned. There does not appear to be a way to kill it, but it’s grown weaker in strength due to our disruptions in the catacombs.

It will take 10 minutes for the rest of the Catacomb Operatives to reopen the portal from the other side. We must survive until they do, and cannot leave the main chamber or we will become zombies in the poisonous chambers. If we make it out alive, we can tell the world how to stop evil from happening again!
